WVU is accepting applications for the MSW program for the 2018-2019 academic year. We accept highly qualified candidates with Bachelor’s Degrees in Social Work (Advanced Standing) and other disciplines (Regular Standing). More detailed admissions guidelines can be found on our website (https://socialwork.wvu.edu/students/msw/admissions-requirements).
We have part-time and full-time options on our Morgantown campus. Our Advanced Integrated Practice curriculum prepares learners to integrate micro, mezzo, and macro practice skills across service sectors and within interdisciplinary teams to effectively address social and human problems across a wide range of practice areas. Graduates of our program are prepared to work in fields such as mental health, child welfare, integrated behavioral health, gerontology, addictions, advocacy, and administration. Those wishing to pursue licensure for clinical practice will be on track to do so after completing our program.
