Providing early support to LGBTQ adolescents and young adults is critical in order to prevent the emergence of health disparities associated with tobacco-related cancers and other chronic diseases later in life. The primary purpose of this webcast is to increase awareness, knowledge and skills to further assist physicians, and mid-level practitioners such as: nurse practitioners, and physician assistants nationwide (including metropolitan and rural areas) with implementing practical strategies and tailored healthcare interventions to LGBTQ adolescent and adult patients (including those that use tobacco products).
