Today’s the day – we’re celebrating WVU’s first Day of Giving! Join us at the Health Sciences Market today for giveaways, events, and more from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.!

 

The fun doesn’t stop there – we’ve also got musical treats from our continuing Music at the Pylons concert series at the Pylons area from 12 p.m.!

Charleston Walk set for Saturday

Lead the way to Alzheimer’s first survivor. Join us this Saturday as we finish out our 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s® season with the Charleston Walk. Registration begins at 8:30am at Appalachian Power Park and the Walk kicks-off at 9:30am. Register online through Friday at noon or register day of in person. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.

Event Location: Monongalia County Ballpark, Granville

The WVU Heart and Vascular Institute is serving as a sponsor of the American Heart Association’s (AHA’s) annual Heart Walk, which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Monongalia County Ballpark in Granville.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the opening ceremonies get underway at 9:45 a.m. The three-mile, non-competitive walk starts at 10:05 a.m.

The WVU Heart and Vascular Institute will bring the Mega Heart to the event and offer tours.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Morgantown has received a generous donation to premiere the uplifting and inspirational documentary,

Look to the Sky, at no cost to the community. We are excited to share this special presentation with all of you to say “thank you” for being real-life superheroes who support our charity!

 

So grab your cape and join us as we celebrate RMHC Morgantown’s 27th anniversary and this special viewing. As you watch the inspiring stories of so many who demonstrate why they are superheroes, you too will find the superhero within yourself.
