Gabe’s, an extreme value fashion retailer and first choice destination for savvy shoppers, is excited to announce its “unBOOlievable Trick-or-Treat Event,” taking place in all Gabe’s locations later this month.

Parents and children are encouraged to visit their local Gabe’s store from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 28th for an “unBOOlievable” experience at Gabe’s. Each child (ages 12 and under) dressed in an appropriate costume and accompanied by a parent or adult will receive a free Gabe’s trick-or-treat bag and have the opportunity to “Trick-or-Treat” throughout the store.

Gabe’s will also hold their “Too Cute to Spook Giveaway” starting October 20th. Anyone over age 18 may post a photo of their children, themselves or anyone they know in costume with the hashtag #GabesHalloween on Instagram or Twitter or using Gabe’s Facebook form for a chance win a $100 Gabe’s gift card. The winner will be announced November 8th.

It’s finally here—Get ready for another “boo-tastic” Halloween with us! Join us for our 3rd annual Boo at the Zoo. Put your costumes on and trick-or-treat with us and our furry friends! As you walk through the zoo, you’ll collect candy from zookeepers along the way-Do you have an artistic side? Stop by our Pumpkin Decorating table and put your hands to work on your own masterpiece to take home. If you get hungry from all the excitement, enjoy some FREE popcorn, hot chocolate, and coffee from our Hungry Bear concession stand. Need something sweet? Enjoy FREE cotton candy (only while supplies last) If all that excitement and fun doesn’t keep you warm, warm up by our fire pit in front of the gift shop. Do you have your costume ready? Win a prize if you are the first child to come through the door dressed as a zookeeper or zoo animal each day. Purchase your raffle tickets in the gift shop for a chance to win a big giraffe or lion stuffed animal. Winner will be announced at 6:00pm on the last day. Be sure your child brings a bucket/bag to collect candy. If you pay with cash, you will get through the admission faster. All walkways are paved and there are benches along the way. All children 3-12 that come dressed in a costume will receive a FREE admission pass for our next season and only good for the month of April 2018.

Directions to the farm can be found at: http://horses.wvu.edu/farm/directions   Members of the WVU Collegiate Horsemen’s Association are organizing a unique event that will give families and children the opportunity to visit the farm, meet WVU ‘s teaching herd and trick-or-treat in a fun and safe atmosphere. This event, sponsored by Manheim Corporation is free and open to the public.
