National LGBT Cancer Network is extremely pleased to be offering scholarships to the upcoming National Conference on Tobacco or Health (NCTOH

LGBTQ community smoke at rates 40% higher than others, right? And that smoking is implicated in well over 1/3 of all cancers, right?

Because of this the National LGBT Cancer Network is extremely pleased to be offering scholarships to the upcoming (and rare) National Conference on Tobacco or Health (NCTOH), Aug 27-29 in Minneapolis MN.

Are you a concerned professional, a student, a queer leader, an advocate… this scholarship is open to all. Members of underrepresented minority groups are particularly encouraged to apply.

We will ask that all recipients write a few paragraphs each day about what they learned and how that might affect queers for sharing on social media.

Deadline to apply is Tue July 30th!

Ready to apply now? Here’s the form. Think someone else would be great to get to NCTOH? Please forward this email to them. We hope to see y’all in August!

Thanks very much to National Network of Public Health Institutes for funding these scholarships.
