Alzheimer’s Association & Dementia University

I am pleased to share with you that the Alzheimer’s Association will be hosting Alzheimer’s and Dementia University for Families and Professionals in Morgantown on July 25th and that we still have registration slots available.

 

Alzheimer’s and Dementia University is a one-day conference offering CME/CEU’s for Physicians, Nurses and Social Workers.

Applicant will provide behavioral health services at our centers and in our School Based Behavioral Health Programs.  Applicants must be able to work independently and under supervision as a member of a Primary Care Team.  Experience in working with adults, families, children, and adolescents is preferred. Applicant must have a Master’s Degree and current Licensure. WV Geriatrics: Caregiving Upcoming Conference

Upcoming conference, theme Caregiving:  Challenges and Solutions.  The cost is very reasonable, only $100 and $35 is you are a student, resident and/or fellow.  The registration includes the cost for processing the seven (7) continuing education credits, breakfast, lunch and snacks plus one year membership in the WV Geriatrics Society (WVGS) for calendar year 2019.

Each September, SAMHSA sponsors National Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders, and to celebrate individuals living in recovery.
